1. ECW wrestler, Mike Lozansky, is now done with the company. He recently got released from his ECW contract due to unknown reasons.
2. ECW is currently trying to sign a lot of Cruiserweights from Mexico, Europe, and Japan. If they are successful, look for them to get a new “ECW Cruiserweight Title” to better suit the division.
Former ECW valet and manager, Nicole Bass, has signed with the WWF last week and she may come in as Sable’s bodyguard or to feud with Chyna. Also, ECW’s Mikey Whipwreck, who signed with WCW last December for $300,000 for 2 years ($150,000 per year), debuted at Uncensored last night and jobbed to Kidman in what was a ***.5 match. Great stuff these two did.
ECW’s next PPV on May 16 will be called Hardcore Heaven. It is rumored to take place from the Aragon Ballroom or UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Illinois. Terry Funk will probably wrestle Tommy Dreamer on the card and Taz will probably wrestle Sid as well on the card for the ECW Title.
911 might be brought back to feud and job to id sometime in the next 4 months.
Starting on March 27, 1999, ECW will be starting to be broadcasted in Miami, Florida on WMIA. Credit- Dave Meltzer.
Tommy Dreamer is currently looking to either going to the WCW or the WWF if they offer him a big enough deal. He says that this is partially because of ECW’s current financial difficulties… Tommy Dreamer was on a radio show recently and he stated that if the WWF or WCW gave him a descent, well arranged, offer, that he would probably accept it.
Spike Dudley is expected to show up wearing a Rey Mysterio Jr. mask at the new ECW show from the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This will be done as a way for paying back Mysterio and WCW for stealing and using Spike Dudley’s “Giant Killer” gimmick. Credit- Dave Meltzer

There are currently no plans to use Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch soon and at Living Dangerously in 6 days on March 21, 1999. They are currently on a drug-rehab kind of program and also Tammy’s mother had them in court this past weekend and she got the restraining order that Tammy should keep away from her ‘till May…
All Rumors from Wrestlezone
Dave Scherer reports that Big Dick Dudley has been released from ECW. He rumored to have been released a couple of months ago, but the situation turned out that he remained. However, he is now released.
Wade Keller says while shooting promos backstage, Public Enemy used a line where they said they would bounce The Brood more often then "a Paul E. check" (a shot at Heyman in reference of the ECW financial troubles). Jim Ross and Jim Cornette laughed at the line.(wrestlefest)
~ Paul Heyman is looking to add 2 more former ECW wrestlers to his current roster. There is talk of bringing back 911 to ECW. Heyman is also interested in signing Marty Jannetty.
Frank Rios reported on RWIN that ECW has recently experienced financial problems. Reports of checks bouncing came to the forefront last week. With the recent concern of Paul Heymans health, and problems with checks had people speculating that ECW was going out of business. Yesterday Tony Lewis of Strictly ECW said on his hotline that today there would be a business deal done between ECW, and a teli-marketing company. That has happened.
Dave Scherer says that an investment of $250,000 is required for an average PPV event, which in the end, a period of up to a year before the company receives the money earned from each PPV. ECW is currently expected to receive over a million dollars from PPV buys, but because Viewer's Choice still does not know the exact amount of money owed to ECW, they won't pay until the full amount is known. Therefore that affects the company greatly and this was the main reason for the financial problems.
Scherer reports that Buena Vista Entertainment has agreed to pay the up front cost for the upcoming PPV. Buena Vista will promote and market the PPV's, and when the money finally comes in from the number of buys, money paid by Buena Vista will be forwarded to them and the additional profits will be split between the company, and Buena Vista.
Paul Heyman also sold off some of the money owed and therefore will solve the problem of the several bounced checks starting Monday, according to Scherer. (Lordsofpain)

~ It looks as if Tammy Lynn Sytch has been let go by ECW. She has been fired due to her personal problems including her drug abuse and getting arrested a couple weeks ago. Things may change and she may be back, but as of now she is gone. Chris Candido however, will stay with ECW.

2/12/99
~ After his match on Friday night, Shane Douglas was rushed to a hospital claiming he was suffering heart attack symptoms. He stayed in the hospital for the weekend and was then let go. Good news that it was a serious viral infection, instead of a heart attack.
2/10/99
~ Dave Scherer reports that Tammy Lynn Sytch was arrested on 2/5 in Middlesex County, New Jersey. She was acting strangely, which caused her mother to file a restrainer order on her. Sytch violated it in the fifth, and was arrested. She spent two days in jail before being released.

1/23/99
~ Taka Michinoku didn't debut at the ECW Arena show last weekend because Paul Heyman didn't finish up the work with Jim Ross. Meltzer says that Michinoku will probably work matches with Yoshihiro Tajiri and Super Crazy. The reason Michinoku is going to ECW is because he was talked into staying with the WWF instead of leaving to Japan. Most agree that WWF wanted to keep Michinoku because they are afraid he would be a big star in WCW if signed and used right.
1/22/99
~ High Times magazine interviewed Rob Van Dam recently. The issue with RVD's interview will be on news stands this Monday.
All rumors above from wrestlefest
Some people would consider Sunday night's ECW Pay-Per-View Guilty As Charged a bad night for the program, even though they put on a good show. Here are some more interesting facts from the night:
From what Dave Scherer has reported, Sabu apparently temporarily quit ECW, because of the tension he had with the company, after ECW told him he was going to wrestle, and then didn't. Apparently, he was informed that Masato Tanaka's paperwork with FMW was straightened out, when it actually wasn't. Sabu cares about his relationship with FMW, and his reputation, and was therefore distraught, and said he would quit ECW. Apparently, he changed his mind and attended the PPV.
Shane Douglas was also very distraught about the PPV. He had agreed to lose the title to Taz, but Douglas wanted to lose the title fair and square, and not with run-ins by Chris Candido. When he heard what would have happened, he threatened to retire, before he lost the belt in a run-in. Schrer reports that he talked to Douglas after the Pay-Per-View, and Douglas was seriously considering retiring from the sport, over this matter.
The only real injury that occured at GAC was to Jason Credible, who broke a couple fingers. Apparently, New Jack wanted to jump thirty feet from a balcony, but the officials said no. Tommy Dreamer also suffered a few minor injuries.
And, finally, New Jack had another good time at GAC, and was arrested for murder. The following comes from Scherer himself:
New Jack had a fun evening the night before the PPV. He was at a local watering hole with his girl when another female came up and to the duo and said that she was Jack’s girl, etc. Jack told her to take a hike. She gave him lip and then her male companion came over. One thing led to another, and he and Jack got in a brawl. Jack tuned the guy up, and the cops came. When they checked his ID, they ran his name and found out that their was a warrant for the arrest, on murder charges, of "Jerome Young", which is Jack’s real name. After a few tenuous moments, they found that the Young they were locking for was from Fort Myers, FL, and he was let go. Just another fun filled night in the life of New Jack. (wrestlingheadlines)
~ The ECW video game is still under production in Utah at the Iguana West headquarters. Acclaim owns Iguana West, and since they have lost their rights to produce anymore WWF games to THQ, look for them to officially produce the ECW game.
~ The March ECW PPV will most likely be somewhere in the Northeast. Boston and New York are the top candidates. Also, the May ECW PPV will be live from Chicago, IL.
~ Jack Victory was backstage last week for the Queens, NY tv tapings. He was on crutches. It will be almost 4 more months until we see Victory back in the ring.
~ ECW now airs in Memphis Tennesee, according. The weekly television program can be seen Saturday Nights at 10:30pm Central on WBII TV20.
~ Chris Candido & Tammy Lynn Sytch will both be on hand for Guilty as Charged. They will be in the corner of Shane Douglas during the main event. Candido will step into the ring for the January 26th ECW tv tapings.
~ ECW is planning on pushing Justin Credible to the top of the ECW ladder. They want to build the promotiong around him. Paul Heyman really likes Credible and wants him as his top heel within the next few months.
a lot of people have complained recently about the current booking in ECW. They say, correctly in my opinion, that is has been tired and boring of late. The main reason for that is that Paul Heyman has been doing all of the work. Ever since Tod Gordon left, Heyman has been doing all of the business end of the company as well as the creative end, and he has suffered on both sides because of it. This past Monday, he restructured the company so that he is not longer handling the day to day business aspects of the company. That will now be handled by business people, with backgrounds in marketing, promotion, accounting, and legal issues. This freeing up of his time should allow Heyman the time he needs to be the creative force he was up until this year. (The Wrestling Booking Sheet)
~ With ECW losing some of it's top stars, Joey Styles made it clear that a new wave of ECW wrestler's will be joining soon. Expect NWA standout Reckless Youth to finally make it to ECW sometime this month. Other names that are soon to join ECW are Super Crazy, Manuel Gomez & Yoshihiro Tajiri
~ Chris Candido & Tammy Sytch will not be leaving ECW. They are locked under 5 year contracts. They posted a message reading that they will explore the big 2. Well, it appears that they just wanted to have some fun with some of us "internet geeks"
~ Sabu and his wife Mibu are having their wedding in Japan
~ Tommy Dreamer has been stating that when his ECW contract expires, he will entertain offers from both WCW and WWF. There is nothing set in concrete, but he would like to see an increase in pay. No matter which side he jumps, this would mean a big blow to ECW
~ Strictly ECW is trying to get ECW on a national station. It appears they want to focus on trying to get ECW on Showtime. To help out their cause, go to their website located at http://www.inergy.com/extreme4ever
~ ECW has been negotiaiting with Fox Sports West, in trying to get a late time slot for tv tapings. Unfortunately Fox Sports' asking price is too high for ECW, so they've backed out. However, ECW will continue on trying to open up in smaller markets in LA
~ Chris Benoit's WCW contract is up very soon. Benoit has stated he wants out badly. In fact it's to the point that money is not his concern, which means he won't mind taking a paycut for advancement in his career. Paul Heyman has been waiting and will no doubt jump to offer Benoit a contract. ECW is probably ahead in signing Benoit, however the WWF might also jump in on the bidding
~ Apparantley Paul Heyman veto'd a recent WWF angle. The WWF wanted to have Blue Meanie & Stevie Richards do the run in on Heat the other night. However Heyman voiced his displeasure because he didn't want commentator's referring to Stevie as coming from ECW
~ It looks like ECW has decided to stay with the Millenium Theater in Kissimmee FL. for their Guilty as Charged PPV venue. Tickets will go on sale this week, and will go through TicketMaster only. Millenium Theater box office is not expected to sell any
~ ECW has been negotiaiting with Fox Sports West, in trying to get a late time slot for tv tapings. Unfortunately Fox Sports' asking price is too high for ECW, so they've backed out. However, ECW will continue on trying to open up in smaller markets in LA
~ Wade Keller reports that Bam Bam Bigelow did not leave ECW on good terms. Bigelow yelled at Paul Heyman the night of November to Remember. Bigelow complained of how Heyman treats his wrestlers
~ ECW plans on having Justin Credible as their top heel by the end of '99. They also want to have Rob Van Dam as their franchise face by that time if not sooner
~ ECW operator Paul Heyman & FMW founder Atsushi Onita scheduled to have a Sandman/Onita death match. Well now that Sandman has left ECW, Heyman still wants the match and will opt for either Sabu or Tommy Dreamer to take on Onita. The official announcement should be sometime after Guilty as Charged
~ Johhny Smith from AJPW will soon debut again in ECW. His date will be sometime in the end of January and possibly early February. No word on who he will fued with or what angle he'll be plugged in to. There's no doubt it will have something to do with former tag partner Shane Douglas
WrestleManiacs.com report that 6 ECW members have been announced to be apart of FMW's "Year End Sensation". This will take place in December. The 6 are ECW world champ "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, Francine, Paul Heyman, Sabu, Rob Van Dam and Bill Alphonso.
